Just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who turned up and donated so generously at the coffee afternoon at the club last Saturday!
I was overwhelmed by the generosity of so many people and it would take far too long to thank you all personally. We raised just over £800 which is a phenomenal amount and that will all be going to the street children of Kitwe in Zambia and help fund the building of a new pre-school and community centre there.
I would like to thank the club for letting me use the facilities on what was a brilliant Super Saturday for everyone! I also want to thank everyone who baked and gave a hand on Saturday, especially the hurling committee along with Kiera and Fionnaula, I couldn't have done it without you!

Congratulations on your All Ireland Junior Club Hurling success, you are a credit to the Borough.
Unfortunately I am unable to attend the Mayors reception this Friday evening but I do hope to call in at the club some time soon to watch a game and say hello in person.
