Toome Community group has received funding from NICVA to hold an activity day for youth in the area. As a resuly we have 10 places for each GAA club in the area Creggan, Cargin & Moneyglass to go sailing in Newtownards. There will be three days in total. U12 on 29th May, U14 on 5th Jume & U16 on 19th June.
We are working in partnership with the Ocean Youth Trust who have over 50 years experience in these activities. On the day the children will be required to bring a consent form, swimming gear, towel, warm clothes & old trainers to get wet when sailing, packed lunch & £2.
Wetsuits, waterproof tops, buoyancy aids will be provided.
Buses will also provided from Toome.
This will be a great experience for all who attend and good behaviour. There is also the oppurtunity for some mentors to go along.
Please contact Gemma on 07821586150 asap. Need names by Tuesday at the latest.

In response to Creggan - USA, there are no hurling reports, nor for that matter Go-Games, U14, U16, Minor, Senior (football and hurling) or ladies football at any grades because no one bothers to send in any reports of their games. It's as simple as that! It's a shame innit?
