as a mid - ulster footballing guru i have summised a round up of the best players on show from the weekends games.
For ballinderry, it has been said that big gavin, big john and young suckie were exceptional, however little impressed as much as dermot 'Dee' mcguckin who showed great endevour and workrate.
Creggan also had their stars in big hugo mcnulty (he can fair rise for a ball) big ricky and marty, and seamie faired well against their big man Cox,
scotstown are a team of large proportion, when i looked out the window this morning i seen cows gathering by a hedge for shelter, this is a sign of rain to come, which will force scotstowns to play her in high to their big man up front, mcglade.
Ardboe are also a quality side yet to be seen, do not get brought in by all the media attention about a certain player, his cousin ciaran coney is a bigger threat in defence!

well done to the creggan minors yesterday against us, they deserved the win and best of luck against a tough scotstown team in the semi final. the 2 other things i want to mention is the display of the referee in yesterdays match, ??????????????? our team handing out at least 5 yellow cards and basically gifting them scores. the second thing is surrounding eunan mullally. our medical team couldnt get him match fit to start the game so he could only make a late impact at full forward so the creggan team was lucky to escape!!!!!

Are a good team but over-rated. Like our minors, well balanced throughout. Nothing to fear from anyone in ulster lads!

Scotstown won by 5, and yep alot of us where at the Ballinderry game, they were good but definitley not unbeatable
