Name: The Old Green Hut
31/3/2011
This might seem like a very pecular question but is there anyone in the club knows the history of the old green hut.
Where did it come from who was responible for getting it putting it up etc.
Apparently it has been with the club for maybe 50 years or so and has been used all down through the years for many purposes. I can remember as a boy playing snooker and pool in it but i think it was used as changing rooms for cards nights and dances years ago. Maybe soneone could take this opportunity to gather some memories of the old green hut and what it meant to them. Although on the outside it was nothing more than a big tin shed it stores alot of memories for me and is anotoher piece of history which has slipped away including the old primary school.
So if anyone out there would like to add their thoughts or provide information then maybe this would be a good time to so.
