The annual Mass for deceased members of Kickhams GAC takes place next Tuesday night at 7.00 or 7.30.( please check) in the pavilion. Not only is it in memory of club members who have died in the past year but also in memory of all those past members who are no longer with us. Could all present members of all ages make an effort to attend and pay respect on this important occasion.
Mass is at 7.30

Commiserations to the u 21’s players,  mentors and all involved. The preparation was thorough, including stiff challenge matches  but things didn’t work out on the night against an excellent St Johns team who really took every chance they got. You can hold your heads high given the fantastic achievements of the past few years not to mention the time and commitment you have put in.  This was a lean year for the club but even so we contested the u 21, minor, SW u14 A and u 12 Shield finals. We also won the Antrim Ogsport. Not bad for a “lean” year. The future is very promising.
The critical thing is not getting beaten but  that we learn from what happened. There are lessons to be learned including some weaknesses in our style of play which have been evident over a few years.  This is a good time to analyse what our weakness are and make the necessary adjustments.  I have every confidence that we can address this and if we continue to show patience and positivity we will be rewarded in the future

We got the better of it last night and are delighted for sure. It was a very good game with excellent levels of discipline and sportsmanship on display. Future looking good for both clubs so stick at it and I'm sure we'll both enjoy more quality tussles in the years ahead...
