Colm McElhinney22 October 2010Further to a most recent discovery, it has came to the attention of the County that many of our County Champions at all grades from senior Championship to Junior CHampionship in both football and hurling have not been recorded in any formal listing as could be presented on a website which would be of interest to all fans of GAA within Antrim. It is most important therefore to seek the assistance of all clubs in Antrim in effort to formualte an accurate list of all winners of championships down through the decadaes. It is certainly the case that for both senior hurling and football the winners may be known but it would also be of interest to record the challenegers. Unfortunaltely the same information can not be said for both intermediate and junior competetions. Therefore I would appeal to all persons out there young and more importantly old to recall if they can who won championships, when they won them and who the opposition of the day was. This is quite a difficult task and will take time both to collate and verify but would be a most welcome addition to the website..

Best Regards

Will this draft be of any use.

Perfect. Now all we need is for people to send us the information to either or if you care to provide your own address, that probably would be better.

please forward relevant dates your club may have won senior, intermediate or junior championships, the opposition and the scoreline if applicable. If you also can post this information on your website for easy reference.

I think i might have left a pair of black arm warmers in your club changing rooms the night of the recretional hurling on Friday the 1st October. Can you tell me who would have cleaned up after us lot of OAPs that night. Paul O'Neill was doing the refereeing that night and your chairman was about. Do you have a lost/found store maybe.  Shamrocks player.
Will check out and get back to you
Name: Concerned Parent
I would like to highlight my concern regarding the door of the main entrance into the old hall. The handle is broken on the inside.  A child could get themselves trapped inside the hall very easily.
It's getting fixed this week
