I had the pleasure of watching your hurlers against St Paul's recently and I would just like to say what a good young team they were. Particularly the number 14 on the day. Hopefully they will go far as a team so it is.

You may have heard that Creggan local heritage group are running Féile Naomh Olcán/ St Olcan's Festival on Sunday 1st July. It begins with the annual Cranfield Sunday Mass at Cranfield graveyeard at the end of which pupils from Creggan school will re-enact the traditional "stations" around the church which are a link with out ancestors going back hundreds of years. Following this there will be an open air concert with TP Hickson, local performers and family day outdoors at Joe O'Boyle's with bouncy castles etc. Later that night at 8:30 to 9:00pm there will be a traditional music session / singalong and community get together in the Cranfield Inn. We appeal to everyone to support the event on the day There is a long tradition of  celebrating St Olcan who is the patron saint of the church and Holy Well in the area. We very much need volunteers to help with organising the event and there will be a meeting to plan the event in the pavilion on Tuesday 19 June at 7pm and we appeal for volunteers
