As is tradition now within the Club, the Eugene McAlynn Memorial Easter Monday Fun Run & Walk is fast approaching. Yes, as the name suggests it's on Easter Monday 6th April and in remembrance of Eugene.
Its a great opportunity to exercise off the big Easter dinners and drinks that will have been had the day before, but the underlying reason is also a serious and sobering affair as all donations go to some of our local and very deserving charities.
This year all monies raised will be split between two worthy charities in relation to the little angels that were taken too early. We remember little Rhiagh O'Boyle and little James Thomas Cunningham and the two charities Helping Hearts and The Childrens Heartbeat Trust will benefit from your kind donations.
So hoke out those runners, get the babies strapped into their buggies, stretch out all the limbs you can reach and join us for a day of fun and remembrance.
Remember the more people participate the more money we can raise....lets do it!
