North Antrim U16 B Shield Final

The U16 hurlers lifted the North Antrim U16 B Shield in fine style on Wednesday night at the marvellous sun drenched grounds and facilities of Glen Rovers GAC, Armoy.

St Enda’s were the opposition and after a very tight first 10 mins when both team shared the first four points, a quick brace of goals form then Creggan lads put daylight between the teams.

Their lead was further stretched in the second quarter to give a commanding half time lead.

St Enda’s put up a stiff second half challenge but Kickhams held onto their advantage to run out worthy winners.

Team captain Sean Kelly put in marvellous shift and was the worthy recipient of the trophy from North Antrim rep Niall Kearney.
