President elect Aogán Ó Fearghail comes to Creggan

On Friday past President elect Aogán Ó Fearghail presented our Senior Hurling team and AIB All Ireland Junior Club Hurling Champions their All Ireland medals in front of friends and family present in the club pavilion.
This was a fantastic occasion for the team and everyone in the club welcoming such a remarkable man to Creggan. Aogán spoke very well and promised to return to our club again at some stage.
Everyone got shirts, books and posters signed from the team and photos with them and of course Aogán.
On the night everyone raised £250 for the Neuroblastoma Children''s Cancer Alliance in the raffle for the hurlers photo Album of the All Ireland Final kindly donated by John McIlwaine. The of the photo album on the night was Sean McCann.
