Eugene McAlynn Memorial Cup 5K run/walk

Easter Monday saw the Eugene McAlynn Memorial Cup 5K run/walk take place in Creggan. This event has now become a permanent fixture on our calendar and rightly so as it raises both awareness and vital money for Cancer charities.
This event is becoming more and more popular each year with over 80 people turning out to walk, push buggys or run the 5km route while braving the biting cold breeze.
The Club would like to think each and every person that turned up and generously made a donation to this year's charity Macmillan Cancer Support.
A fantastic £677 was raised on the day, with the twin McKeowns Gerard & Ciaran 'running' off with the trophy!
