Eugene McAlynn Memorial Cup 5K run/walk

After the success of last year's Eugene McAlynn Memorial Cup 5K run/walk on Easter Monday, the event will be run again this Easter Monday. Enda Maguire says this year will be the fifth year now that it will be running and it's popularity is ever growing.

The runners will start @ 12:00 with the walkers starting half an hour earlier @ 11:30am.

There was a great turnout last year with close to 50 runners/walkers taking part so it would be great to beat that figure this year and blow away those Easter Sunday cobwebs/hangovers or whatever else!

In excess of £500 was raised on the day for cancer charity which was a brilliant total, so this is an appeal to have more runners and even more donations this Easter.

This year's donations will be going to the Macmillan Cancer Support Charity in memoriam of the late Sonia Martin RIP...a very worthy cause I'm sure you agree.
