U8/U10 Blitz
The 'A' team consisted of Kealan McCann, Ciaran Rice, Rona Burke, John McAuley, Ciaran McAteer, Matthew Rodgers, Oisin McAteer, Kevin Small and Liam Quinn.
Creggan came up against a very good Lavey team but after a slow start, they played some great football in the second half. A long range point from Kevin Small was followed by the same player winning a penalty, which he drove low and hard to the net.
The defence of Ciaran Rice, Rona Burke and John McAuley played well throughout. A great solo run by Rona was followed by him kicking over a long range point. Ciaran McAteerand matthew Rodgers ran their socks off in midfield while Oisin McAteer and Liam Quinn helped Kevin Small up front against a very stubborn Lavey defence.
Creggan 'A' second game was a very close contest played on the new 3G surface. Kealan McCann punched away dangerous balls from his goal line, while in defence Ciaran Rice, Matthew Rodgers and John McAuley were always on top.
Kevin Small and Ciaran McAteer covered a lot of ground from midfield and three great points from Kevin sealed a great performance.
Oisin McAteer and Rona Burke battled hard in the forward line with Liam Quinn scoring a brilliant goal and a point with another effort coming off the bar.
