Ulster U21 Football Champions Tournament Launch & Draw
Saturday, December 29, 2012
The Launch & Draw for the 4th Annual Ulster U21 Football Champions Tournament was held last night in the Pavilion with a great turn out of both locals and Ulster personalities.
Once again the tournament is sponsored by our own Thomas Devlin Motors who we are indebted to and grateful for his continued support and involvement in this Competition. Thomas supports us so please support him in return.
The night was expertly compered by Sean McAuley again and he prompted and probed a lively debate on topics such as the proposed many Gaelic Football rule changes, an anticipated Ballinderry/Dromore clash, and of course the bloodlines and rightful ownership of several family names!
It is always interesting to hear the opinions on such topics from respected GAA men such as Pete McGrath, Dermot 'Brick' Molloy, Jim Murray, John Keenan etc.
After refreshments, the press got their photo opportunities and Jerome Quinn worked his soundbites so keep an eye out for all these and much more in the local papers, this website and our Club facebook page.
Finally a huge thanks for all the hard work and meetings and phone calls by the organising committee that make events like this run as smoothly as they do.
See the Gallery section for some pictures of last nights launch.
