Lá Fhéile Naomh Olcán / St Olcan's Festival
Tuesday, June 12, 2012
On
1st
July St Olcan's Festival will take place in
Cranfield. During this festival the following will take place:
- Cranfield Sunday Mass in Cranfield graveyard
- Re-enactment of traditional "stations" around the church by pupils from Creggan school
- Open air concert and family day
- Finally a traditional music night and get together in the Cranfield Inn.
This will be a great day for everyone no matter if you are local or not. Pay respect to past members of families and the parish. Then enjoy the stations around the church performed by the young pupils from Creggan primary school, the traditional music and much more!
If you are willing, we need volunteers to come to a meeting in the pavilion on
Tuesday 19th to help organise and make sure this festival runs as best as possible to make it a great day!
