Creggan reserves kept their good run going in the league with a win over Aldergrove on Wednesday night.

Due to the seniors missing a number of players and therfore taking from the reserve pool, this left the Div. 5 team seriously depleated so it is great credit to them that they secured the 2 league points from this match in what always proves to be a tough opponent.

A sign of how under strength they were, was the appearance of Pip O'Kane in goals!!! But it has to be said he hasn't let in a single goal all year so fair play to him! He made his keeping debut in a pre-season trip to Scotland where he stood firm also.

A number of fringe players got their chance in this game and it was up to them to show the management what they can do....and you can't argue with them getting the win, so this will increase the competition for places on the team which is always healthy.

Next up for the Reserves is another home match against O'Donnells Seniors on 25th May @ 1:30.
