ACHL Div 4B Recent Update

Sunday 6th June
Creggan 0-10 V Davitts 1-13

Creggan had the chance to atone for the previous defeat to Davitts at Parc Ciceam on Sunday 6th June however the team ultimately came up short against a Davitts side that were the better team on the day. Unfortunately we have suffered this year from being unable to put out our strongest team to date and with a small panel to chose from that means we cannot deliver consistent performances.

With Tommy being crowded out at No 11 our ability to win possession and take scores was sorely limited. The game hinged on the opening 20 mins where Davitts started off brightest and took some good scores. Creggan came back into the game but a goal early in the second half turned the tide firmly in Davitts favour and they ran out comfortable winners in the end.
 
Monday 28th June
Larne 1-2 v Creggan 5-18

Creggan got back to winning ways with another straightforward win over Larne. This game was notable for some good scoring performances from Sam Maguire (1-6) and Stephen Colgan (3-0). However as a preparation for the championship this game this game did not provide the level of challenge that the team required to get into the frame of mind and speed of stick work required.
