Creggan defeated Larne last Friday in the semi-final of the SW Hurling Championship at Creggan.
It was mainly one way traffic for the majority of the match with Creggan holding the visitors scoreless in the first half. The Ogra Ciceam scored 2-04 with Tiernan McAteer and Conor Small grabbing 1-01 each and Jake McAteer adding a point. Only for the heroics of the Larne keeper the score would have been much higher as he proved unbeatable for a lot of the opening half.
The scoring was reduced in the second half with Creggan shooting a further goal and a point in response to Larne’s two points.
Creggan are now through to the final of the competition. Well done lads!
