Creggan were defeated in the first round of this year’s Senior Football Championship at Toome on Saturday.
Playing with a strong breeze in the first half Creggan didn’t make enough of their possession and scoring chances and went in at the break leading by a perilous 4 points. Creggan 0-06, Partglenone 0-02.
Portglenone wasted no time in reducing the deficit and they eventually went a point ahead late in to the game. Try as they did, Creggan just couldn’t manage an equalizing point and they found themselves out of the championship.
