A good victory for the seniors today over a St Pauls team who started the game with a very attacking game plan. They were obviously in town to disrupt the celebrations after Fridays nights win in the under 21 cship final. Early goals from Sam Maguire and Hugh McNulty and we never gave St Pauls a chance to add scores to their early enthusiasm.
Further 1st half scores from Adrian, Leigh, Odhran and Tommy gave us a 5 point lead at the break.
2nd half and a few changes in personnel. Dominic Totten came on in Defence, Ronan McAuley to Midfield and Mark Anthony and Peter McCollum up front to add pace to our attack.
Great defending made sure we kept our lead and a Mark Anthony goal with 10 minutes remaining and a great team effort score from Odhran McLarnon ensured victory and another 2 points in the bag.
