Creggan U14 hurlers went to Casement today and returned home with the Feile trophy after a gutsy performance against a much bigger Glenshesk side.
Played in atrocious conditions for most of the match the game was all square at 0-05 to 1-02 at the break. Creggan were the far superior side in the second half, limiting Glenshesk to only a number of attacks on our goal where they got their only score of the second period, a goal.
Creggan, in contrast fought like demons for every ball and kept popping over the points whenever they engineered the opportunities, resulting in them running out one point winners.
A thoroughly deserved victory and well done to the players and management alike. Brilliant stuff!
