Creggan 6-11
Larne 1-03

In our first league match of 2009 we got off to a good start with a mid-week win away from home. This was a team performance with every man trying very hard and playing well in his position.

Creggan 6-17
St Bridgids 1-08

Our 2nd Senior league game was with St Bridgets and we got another good result against the Malone Road boys. Our boy's are starting to play and score more freely, with almost all our forwards and mid fielders getting their name on the score sheet. It's still early in the season but it was a good team performance and a promising result for the games ahead.

Mc Dermotts 1-08
Creggan 4-17

Our first run up to Belfast saw us collect another 2points at falls park. On a good surface it took us a few minutes to settle down but once we settled and starting looking for passes we began to hurl to our potential. Hopefully everyone can keep up the good work and momentum going. Another good performance especially from the young boys who are playing a lot of hard matches at present.

Davitts 1-03

This was a very good result against a physical team who thought they could intimidate our boy's out of their way of playing, fortunately our hurlers hurled away without getting involved. This is evident with the 1.15 scoreline, with points coming from Sam, Benny, Conor, Niall, Cheesie and Tom and young Conor scoring the goal.
A powerful spread of scores but the most pleasing about the performance was how our boy's kept their discipline, defended great when they had to and put scores on the board when the opportunity arose.
