Presentation On Pitch Upkeep And Maintenance Wed 15th in All Saints Gac Ballymena. @8pm.
Due
to a number of requests from clubs, the North Antrim Board have
organized the presentation By Pat Turlie of Ferguson Mc Ilveen who for
over 40 years has been involved in some of the biggest sporting
constructions in Ireland, including Greenmount, Balmoral Golf club
Ballymena Showgrounds, Both Universities, Queens and UUJ. He is an
expert in soil, and pitch construction. The older generation may know
him as a Gaelic football All Ireland winner with Down in 61.
There
will also be a Q&A session afterwards. This is open to grounds men
from all clubs. The presentation starts at 8pm sharp.
