On Friday 20th March we held our public consultation event on our proposed development and planning application for additional facilities at the club. Thankfully everyone exercised social distancing at this meeting.

We invite the public to read and view the details below including the Public Consultation Information Booklet. If you have any comments, please add them to the section contained within the information booklet and email them to secretary.creggankickhams.antrim@gaa.ie

Kickham’s GAC Creggan is proposing to create additional facilities at 134 Staffordstown Road, Randalstown, BT41 3LH. The scheme includes the development of a playing field on agricultural land adjacent to the eastern boundary of the existing playing field to include ball stops, flood lighting and ancillary footpaths. In accordance with the legislation the club is conducting a formal community consultation process in advance of submitting the formal planning application and, in this context, details of the proposal are attached for your information. These include the Proposal of Application Notice, associated plans and a copy of the booklet which will be circulated to the wider community as part of a wider and inclusive consultation exercise. Hard copies of these documents will also be provided for you at the Civic Centre, 50 Stiles Way, Antrim BT41 2UB.

Kickham's GAC would appreciate your support as we move forward with the plans to develop a new playing field and value any comments you may wish to make on the proposal. These can be emailed to myself at Secretary.creggankickhams.antrim@gaa.ie  or submitted in writing to 134 Staffordstown Road, Randalstown, BT41 3LH.

As per the legislative requirements, any comments submitted are not representations to the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council planning authority and it is important to note that there will be a further opportunity for representation to be made when the formal planning application has been lodged for determination. The application has been advertised in the press and the statutory neighbour notification process will be conducted by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council in accordance with the legislation.

Thank you very much again for taking the time to review and consider the proposal.
