Again due to holidays & injuries the team lined out with the bare 15
players which included four U-14s.
Creggan got off to a dream start with their first three attacks yielding 3 goals for Aidan, Odhran and Dannan as the sloithar dipped in over the keeper 3 times in a 5min spell. This was followed by Conor McCann converting two 65’s and two frees to lead at half time, 3-04 to 0-02 with the opposition reduced to 14 players.
At the restart, further goals from Odhran and Dannan put the game out of reach with another four points added in succession. The spare man resulted in Matthew sweeping up a lot of loose ball and supplying the forwards with opportunities where Odhran, Rauri, Dannan and ‘wee’ Conor battled hard.
