Creggan travelled the short distance to the other side of the parish to play in the official opening of the Toome team's pitches.
The first half was an even affair with the home side getting off to the quicker start by taking a 0-05 to 0-01 lead. The visitors eventually found their stride though and turned the score line around to lead 0-07 to 0-05. Disaster struck though towards the end of the first half when a mistake in the Creggan defence led to the ball being turned over and it was sent to the visitors net.
The second half was a non event as far as the Creggan side was concerned when they just didn't compete and you can read in to the score line what you will.
