We are delighted to announce that Creggan U8 and U10 Camogs have been selected to take part in this years National ‘Hurl With Me’ Programme 2016!! There was high demand for this programme and we were the only club selected within Antrim. This initiative sees camogs in the 7-10 year old group and their parents taking part in a six week coaching programme where a tutor will coach the skills of camogie. It will finish with a National day in Dublin on Sunday 26thJune! We are so excited about this fantastic initiative coming to Creggan and ask for your support in this initiative. We will be in touch with more information shortly!
The clubs that will take part in the 2016 Hurl with Me Programme in conjunction with the National Dairy Council have been announced. 24 clubs from around the country will take part in the programme. The six week programme encourages parents/guardians to learn the basic skills of Camogie while also increasing their own physical activity levels. A tutor will be provided to the club to teach the parents the basic skills of the game of Camogie. Both daughters and parents will attend a National day in Dublin on June 26th.
